TFL Reopening: Phase 1

Dear Friends,
We are now accepting returns of books, DVDs, and audios. Please use the new drive-up freestanding bookdrop on the sidewalk right outside the old main entrance. All returns will be quarantined for 72 hours before being reshelved/circulated.

Although the building will remain closed to the public until further notice, contactless curbside pickup service is available 6 days a week. You can browse new acquisitions from the drop-down list at the top of the page of the online catalog.  Log in to your account to place holds on books, movies, and audios directly, or call 569-4256 or email holds@tuftonborolibrary.org with your requests.

Staff will contact patrons to confirm holds and schedule a pickup time.  Filled requests will be checked out, packaged in labelled bags, and placed on the table right outside the new main entrance, ready to go.

Pickup times will be scheduled at staggered intervals on Tuesday from 11-2; Wednesday-Friday 11-5; Saturday 11-3; and Sunday 11-2. This will allow staff time to pull, check out, and bag materials for pickup every morning, and to disinfect surfaces and equipment at the end of each day.

All of us are grateful for your patience with this carefully phased approach to reopening. Please know that at every step of the way, we will take stringent precautions to protect the health and safety of patrons and staff insofar as possible.
